The King is dead! Long live the King!

This time yesterday I was grieving. I knew there was an issue with the Technics SL1210 Mk.2 turntables, where the phono cables would short-out, leaving one channel down. 

It happened .. I followed tutorials very, very carefully .. stripped back the TT .. new cable .. reassembled .. same issue 😢

The actual circuit board had died. 

So, what to do? 

I had a good long think .. and my brand new Technics SL1210 GR arrives on Monday 😁
