New Technics SL1210GR ..

Here we go, folks! As promised, here’s a bucketload of pics showing my (newly delivered today) Technics SL1210GR. I’ve had to forego adding a new 2M Black (which I was going to use with my old SL1210 Mk.2) as per lack of funds, so I’ve used my 2M Red. 

First impressions are fantastic (even though using the Red, a sound I’m very familiar with)! 

As to be partially expected, with it being a Direct Drive; the bass in particular is ‘locked’ into the soundstage .. which is incredibly wide. Setup was a piece of cake and the physicality of the thing .. the mass .. is definitely on a par with the old 1210.

Now to add that 2M Black 💕
